Python anonymous function lambda

Lambda is an anonymous function in the form

Lambda x: x * x

Equivalent

Def func (x): return x * x

"X" is equivalent to the function parameter, and the expression "x * x" is equivalent to the return value. Therefore, lambda does not need or have a return value.

An anonymous function is a function object. You can assign an anonymous function to a variable and use the variable to call the function. anonymous functions are suitable for writing simple functions, because they do not need function commands and do not cause function name conflicts.

#! /Usr/bin/python # coding = utf-8import OS, sysf = lambda x: x * xprint f (5) # directly call print (lambda x: x * x) (5) # Use print map (lambda x: x * x, range (5) in combination with map ))

Output:

2525 [0, 1, 4, 9, 16]
