Use global variables in functions (declared with global):

>>> x = 1>>> def change_global (): Global xx = x+1>>> change_global () >>> x2

A local variable in a function has the same name as a global variable, and 2 uses the same case (gets the value of the global variable using globals):

>>> parameter = "Alex" >>> def combine (parameter):p rint (Parameter+globals () [' parameter ']) >> > Combine ("Hello") Hello Alex

The nonlocal keyword is similar to the Global keyword, allowing you to assign a variable to an external scope, but not a global scope.
