Describe

The append () method is used to add a new object at the end of the list.

Append () method syntax:

List.append (obj)

　　

Parameters

• Obj--An object added to the end of the list.

return value

The method has no return value, but the original list is modified.

Instance

The following example shows how the append () function is used:

#!/usr/bin/pythonalist = [123, ' xyz ', ' Zara ', ' abc '];alist.append;p rint "Updated List:", alist;

　　

The result of the above example output is as follows:
