Python removes whitespace from a string

Source: Internet
Author: User

Python can find extra whitespace at the beginning and end of a string.
To ensure that there is no whitespace at the end of the string, use Method Rstrip ().
You can also reject whitespace at the beginning of a string, or both ends of a string.
To do this, the methods Lstrip () and strip () can be used separately:
>>> favorite_language = ' python '
>>> Favorite_language.rstrip ()
' Python '
>>> Favorite_language.lstrip ()
' Python '
>>> Favorite_language.strip ()
' Python '
To permanently delete whitespace from this string, you must save the result of the delete operation back into the variable
Favorite_language = Favorite_language.rstrip ()
