Python standard library: Built-in function super ([type[, Object-or-type]])

Source: Internet
Author: User

This function is a method that implements access to a parent class or sibling class object, which is a proxy class object that is returned in order to access the parent class or sibling class. This function is used primarily to avoid the use of the class name of the base class when the class is resumed, and when multiple inheritance is used, the constructor of the base class is guaranteed to be called only once. Note that the point is that it cannot be mixed with calling the base class name.

Example:

#super () class A: def __init__ (self): print (' A.init ') class B (A): def __init__ (self): super (). __init __ () print (' b.init ') b = B ()

The resulting output is as follows:

A.init

B.init
