1. First, set the NIC on Vmware to the hostonly mode.
2. In the XP system, check the VMware Virtual Network Card vmnet1 in the network connection. This is the virtual network card used in hostonly mode, and vmnet8 is the virtual network card used in Nat mode. Set the vmnet1 IPaddress to 192.168.105.1.
3. Run QNX in VMware and set the IP address to 192.168.105.2 and the gateway to 192.168.105.1.
4. open a shared directory in windows and name it qnxshare. if the machine name is Wang, the user name is administrator, and the password is A, run the following command to mount the machine to the/tmp directory under QNX:
FS-CIFS // Wang: 192.168.105.1:/QNX/tmp administrator
You can also:
FS-CIFS-l // Wang: 192.168.105.1:/QNX/tmp, prompting you to enter the password
Note: The shared folder must be a hard drive of FAT32 and an H drive for my computer, for example:
FS-CIFS-l // Wang: 192.168.105.1111:/share/tmp/graphics
Now you are not connected to other machines and can exchange files with windows.
Note:
1). Do not enter the user name and password, for example:
FS-CIFS // Wang: 192.168.105.1:/qnxshare/tmp
The qnxshare file is a shared file on any hard disk on your computer, for example, D:/qnxshare. You do not need to enter the drive letter D in running FS-CIFS, whether drive d Is NTFS or FAT32 (tested), it is mainly the folder seen in the network neighbors.
2) The name of the machine on which the XP computer is installed must be entered. You can see it in the network connection-view the Working Group computer, or in the context menu of my computer, if no, the io_mount error may occur.
3). The nic ip settings of VMware can be set in workstation or in the network connection of the XP system. We recommend that you set them to the same network segment;
