Query statements for sorting the text segments in MySQL (sorted by the first letter of the pinyin)

When working with MySQL, the data table uses the UTF8 character set, in which the Chinese cannot be sorted directly by pinyin.

If the character encoding of a field name in the data table TBL is Latin1_swedish_ci

SELECT * from ' TBL ' ORDER by Birary (name) ASC;

If the character encoding of a field name in the data table TBL is Utf8_general_ci

SELECT name from ' tbl ' WHERE 1 ORDER by CONVERT (name USING gbk) COLLATE gbk_chinese_ci ASC
