Quickly create a gem

1. Create a New gem

Bundle gem gemname

2. Modify the. gemspec file in gem

S. Summary = % q {todo: Write a gem summary} s. Description = % q {todo: Write a gem description}
Modify the content in % q {} to a summary and description. The. gemspec file mainly displays the gem information.

3. Write the classes and functions to be written into the. RB file in Lib.

4. Gem build gemname. gemspec

5. Rake install can generate a version of the GEM package and upload it to rubygem.org.

6. Test IRB in the gemname directory:

Require 'gemname'

Write the code. RB file. If there is a model, remember that the test method is model: class. method. If it is a method, it is class. method.
