The mkdir command is primarily used to create a directory

Parameters

-M: Configuration file permissions

-P: help you to directly set up the desired directory recursively

Case

Go to directory/usr/local/sbin ( Burgundy font is command, Blue font is interpreted font)

[[email protected] sbin]# mkdir test Create a folder test

[email protected] sbin]# mkdir-p test/test1/test2 now test build test1 and then build test2

[[email protected] sbin]# mkdir-m 777 test3 Create a folder test3 and give readable writable permissions
