To connect to ubantu in windows, install the following software:

1. Install winSCP in windows

2. install OpenSSH Server in Ubantu

Run the command line to install openSSH Server: sudo apt-get install openssh-server.

Ubantu automatically downloads and installs openssh server, and resolves all dependencies.

You can also search for "openssh-server" Through Ubantu Software Center, and click "Install ".

The following describes how to remotely connect to linux in windows:

1. First, ensure that linux can connect to the Internet and start openssh server:

Sudo/etc/init. d/ssh start

2. view the linux IP Address: ifconfig

3. Enter the remote linux IP address in winscp. The default port number is 22.
