Remote Desktop Connection for server applications (1)

Remote Desktop Connection is a remote management mode. It is mainly used by network administrators to manage remote computers on servers.

By default, Remote Desktop connections are called "terminal service client") installed on all Windows Server 2003 operating systems. Remote Desktop Connection can be used to connect to the terminal Server, or to the computer table running one of the Windows Server 2003 operating systems, or to a computer installed with Windows XP for remote management. I. Deployment of Remote Desktop Connection

Remote Desktop Connection also belongs to the C/S Client/Server mode. Therefore, you must configure the connection server and client before establishing the connection. The server side here refers to the computer that accepts the Remote Desktop Connection, and the client is the computer that initiates the desktop connection.

Because the remote management mode of "Remote Desktop Connection" belongs to a Windows Server 2003 Server or Windows XP Computer) Management remote workstation or Member Server) computer, therefore, the Remote Desktop Connection is currently initiated on the Windows Server 2003 Server. As a Remote Desktop Connection Server, you must install the "Remote Desktop Connection" Server program. Currently, only Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 are supported, and the Windows 2000 Server system that has installed the "Terminal Server" program can have it. In other versions, Windows computers cannot be "Remote Desktop Connection" servers. In these two systems, you need to enable the current computer to allow remote connection requests from the initiator, you only need to select the allow user to remotely connect to this computer option in the Remote tab dialog box of the Local Computer System Properties.

In addition, you must configure the remote connection permission for the user used for remote connection. By default, members in the Administrators group can remotely connect to the server. In addition, a "Remote Desktop Users" group has this permission. However, by default, no members are added to the "Remote Desktop Users" group. Therefore, if you want to add other Users, you do not want to grant them high privileges as the system administrator, you must add it to this group. The "Remote Desktop Users" group not only allows the same access permissions as the Users Group, but also has other Remote connection capabilities. By using this group, you can save and manage resources without setting these permissions for each user separately.

Ii. Establishment of Remote Desktop Connection
