1.3Main content of this graduation project 

This graduation project aims to develop and design the Geographic Information System under the ArcGIS-based web platform, and use the current device location coordinates of the research team and the geographical basemap of a city to digitize and informatize the distribution network, allows you to locate and query the device accounts of the distribution network on the web.

Distribution Network GIS is an information distribution management system that integrates substation, distribution line, power equipment, power load, power users, power generation units, and other information of power companies. Distribution Network GIS provides the power equipment query function and the service map positioning function, so that users can easily understand the geographical environment, population distribution, product resources, and natural environment of the power equipment, these are important factors that affect power allocation. Therefore, after these functions are implemented, users can easily make some production management and decision-making.

Based on the actual production requirements, we can analyze the main contents of this graduation project as follows:

 

1.3.1 Construct a basic B/S WebGIS framework 

GIS has evolved from a single-host environment application to a network environment application. In the network environment, GIS applications are developed from clients/servers (C/S) in the LAN) structured applications develop towards the WebGIS application of Browser/Server (B/S) structures in the Internet environment. WebGIS has gradually become the mainstream of GIS applications, compared with the C/S structure, WebGIS is easy to deploy, easy to use, and has low network bandwidth requirements, laying the foundation for the development of geographic information services [3].

The biggest advantage of B/S (Browser/Server) structure is that it is easy to install and maintain (only installs and maintains the server), and the system expansion is relatively simple. The purpose of this study is to display information efficiently, so it does not involve too many client operations. Therefore, the B/S mode is selected, as long as the user's PC is connected, you can use a browser to view and analyze data without any additional Client installation.Program.

The starting point of the system during this graduation project is a basic WebGIS development template provided by ArcGIS for developers when ArcGIS is installed.

 

1.3.2 Add power equipment for WebGISQuery function

The power device query function includes parameter map query and keyword query and locating. Using the connection between the geographical database and the non-geographical database, you can query the map database on the map to obtain the device information on the map, and then use the map device information as the query condition, query non-geographic data in SQL Server to obtain more detailed device information. After obtaining the detailed information, use the Web technology to display the information on the user interface.

1.3.3 Added the power outage area display function for WebGIS.

The power company enters the power outage user data into the database, and then queries the table box data of the power outage user in the non-geographical data to obtain the geographical coordinates of the table box. Generally, the objects of the power failure operation are regional ranges. Therefore, draw out the scattered envelope lines on the map of the table box group to form a closed area and color and highlight the area, display the blackout area on the map at a glance.

1.3.4 Add device statistics for WebGIS

With the backup statistics function, we can use the powerful database query function to query or count the categories of all devices in a GEO chart, and display the results visually using forms or graphs, in this way, the staff can analyze and use the data to improve the availability of the entire system.
