GPS: GPS is short for the English Global Positioning System (GPS. GPS started in 1958 as a US military project and was put into use in 1964. After more than 20 years of research and experiments, at a cost of $30 billion, by 1994, 24 GPS satellite constellations with a global coverage rate of up to 98% have been deployed.

NMEA Protocol: communication protocols for navigation and positioning generally refer to NMEA0813, which is a type of NMEA protocol, NMEA is to establish a unified maritime radio technology commission (BTCM) standard in different GPS navigation devices and is a National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) the defined receiver output information standard.
