Retrieve Chinese in Win8-American keyboard
As we all know, Win8 strictly classifies input methods. You can only add Chinese input methods, such as Microsoft pinyin ).
However, in earlier Windows 7 and XP, you can add English to Chinese input methods.
Therefore, the "Chinese-American keyboard" in the Chinese Input Method is blocked by default. Some old users may be accustomed to using ctrl + shift to switch the input method.
Then we can retrieve the Chinese American keyboard. [Plain] 1. Open CMD and enter regedit to open the Registry Editor;
2. Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Keyboard Layout/Substitutes and create a new "string value" with the name 00000804 and the value 00000409;
3. Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Keyboard Layout/Preload and create a new "string value" with the name 1 and the value 00000804 (if "1" already exists, update the value directly );
After completing these steps, let's see if "Chinese-American keyboard" is found in "language options.
