First, preface

Recently in the self-taught Oracle, today try a silent installation method, nonsense not much to say below the beginning.

1, prepare Oracle software, I use the 11.2.4 version, if not go to the Oracle website to download,

2, the software upload to/tmp directory, there is a response directory, there are 3 RSP files

DBCA.RSP DB_INSTALL.RSP NETCA.RSP, which functions as follows:

DB_INSTALL.RSP is the file that installs the database software (this is the file we use this time)

DBCA.RSP is the file that created the database

NETCA.RSP is a file that creates a database listener

2, the file CP to/home/db/oracle/response, where the test environment Oracle home directory for/home/db/oracle.

Ii. start installation of Oracle software

1. Operation Command

# chmod +x–r/tmp/database

# su-oracle

# CD database directory, run Runinstaller

#./runinstaller-silent-responsefile/home/db/oracle/response/db_install.rsp-ignoreprereq

To start the installation, it will take a while (if there is no error prompt do not press "enter" key, otherwise there may be a command line prompt, mistakenly think the installation is terminated, actually still installed)

2, open another terminal, you can track the installation log in real-time to understand the progress of the installation of execution:

During the installation, if [WARNING] is not heeded, the installer is still in progress, and if [FATAL] is present, the Setup program has stopped.

3. When the following configuration script appears, it needs to be executed as "root" user.

Follow the instructions:

$ exit//back to root user, run the following two scripts

/home/db/oracle/orainventory/orainstroot.sh

/oracle/product/11.2.4/db_1/root.sh

During the installation process I also refer to some articles on the Internet, the problem is that I encountered this time, and the problem two and three, I check the information on the Internet when you see other people encountered, here is recorded down.

Question One

[FATAL] [INS-32035] Unable to create a new central inventory directory:/oracle.

Cause:the Central inventory location provided are not empty.

Action:please provide another location for the inventory.

A log of this session is currently saved as:/tmp/orainstall2016-08-30_05-29-49pm/installactions2016-08-30_ 05-29-49pm.log. Oracle recommends if you want to keep this log, you should move it from the temporary location to a m Ore permanent location.

---Solutions

In fact, this problem depends on itself, may be not familiar with the Oracle installation process, toss half a day.

The configuration file must be written in Inventory_location=/home/db/oracle/orainventory.

---Solutions

In the installation template, change the value of the Decline_security_updates parameter to True, which is:

Decline_security_updates=true//See the installation template file above DB_INSTALL.RSP

[FATAL] [INS-13013] Target Environment does not meet some mandatory requirements.

Cause:some of the mandatory prerequisites is not met. See logs for details. /orain/oracle/orainventory/logs/installactions2011-03-02_04-49-41pm.log

Action:identify the list of failed prerequisite checks from the log:/orain/oracle/orainventory/logs/installactions2011- 03-02_04-49-41pm.log. Then either from the log file or from installation manual find the appropriate configuration to meet the prerequisites and Fix it manually.

---Solutions

This error is found on the internet to say that the option-ignoreprereq in the Install command can be resolved, but the root cause of the problem is not.
