On October 11, May 2, Beijing time, RIM promised on Tuesday that the first year of the quality-certified new BlackBerry 10 application will allow developers to earn at least $10 thousand. This aims to promote developers to develop applications for the next-generation BlackBerry 10 operating system.
RIM said they would make full use of the funds to ensure that any application that meets certain quality standards and submitted to the App World store before the release of Blackberry 10 received the above revenue.
"If a quality-certified application is submitted to the App World store before the release of Blackberry 10, it will earn at least $10 thousand in the first year of its launch ." RIM said on Twitter that it was responding to RIM's commitment at the Orlando BlackBerry World Conference.
It is critical for RIM to obtain support from developers for new systems. As RIM's market share has declined in recent years, its developer support is also declining.
RIM disclosed several features of the new BlackBerry 10 system on Tuesday, presented the prototype running the system, and announced several partners who developed the BlackBerry 10 application.
