Ruby on Rails installation configuration under CentOS 7

Because you want to install the latest version, install it by compiling it.

Prepare the tools and library files before installing:

sudo Yum Install GCC gcc-c++ openssl-devel readline-devel gdbm-devel patch

Download file:

Curl-o https://cache.ruby-lang.org/pub/ruby/2.2/ruby-2.2.3.tar.gz

Unzip the file:

tar XF ruby-2.2. 3. tar. gz

Enter directory:

CD ruby-2.2. 3

Generate the Makefile file:

./configure

Compile:

Make

Installation:

sudo  Make Install

Installing rails:

Install Rails

Test:

Rails new BLOGCD blograils server
