(1)Bom level ):The material list is prepared according to the reverse process. The material level reflects the product processing order. The bottom layer is raw materials, the lower layer is rough parts, and the higher is semi-finished products. The top layer is product products, that is, the second layer. The purchased parts that participate in the final assembly are at the first layer.

(2)Item or part no ):It is also known as the item number, product number, etc. The material code is the serial number of the materials arranged according to certain encoding rules. There are multiple coding rules, such as the Arabic numerals, English letters, dark indication, and mixed law. A material can only have one material code. Similarly, a material code can only represent one material, it seems that our ID card number is the same. Although we have the same name, the ID card number is different. This is the uniqueness requirement of the material code.

(3)Item Description ):It is also called the material name, which is a description of the material characteristics. For example, the material description in 36-00-r40031 is 980d5/dC5.

(4)Type ):A product may have multiple specifications and different specifications of materials. Even if there are slight differences, it is regarded as another material. The product cost should be calculated separately. The product specification is the smallest unit of materials, some ERP systems process the name + specification = material description in one field.

(5)Unit of measurement ):The measurement unit is grams, kilograms, units, sets, liters, packages, etc. A material may have multiple measurement units at the same time. Generally, the minimum unit is used as the basic unit, that is, the Inventory Unit, if the conversion coefficient of the measurement unit is required in ERP software during procurement or sales, it is also called a conversion factor.

(6)Standard quantity ):The standard usage of the BOM table can be divided into the input amount and the output amount. The output volume is the net amount of finished products. The standard usage of the same product can be different in different production stages. For example, for the production of plastic low case, an investment of 2.2 tons of ABS and 0.51 tons of toner is required. At this time, it is best to use the input amount to set the material usage, if a part is damaged during the assembly process, you can open a sporadic picking ticket (some companies call it a raw material order. The relationship between input volume and output volume is: Input volume = output volume * (1 + rejection rate ).

(7)Phantom item ):The use of virtual parts mainly aims to reduce the BOM layers and complexity, simplify MPs operations, and also facilitate business management, such as reducing the Mo (manufacturing order. Using a large number of virtual parts has many drawbacks, especially for virtual parts set to make it easier for a department to view the product structure. You must be cautious when using virtual parts, because the abuse of virtual parts has a great impact on the system and has an impact on the production, execution and management of tickets, the workshop may be difficult to adapt to this situation.

Whether the virtual parts are in stock is divided into two situations:

1. Inventory is not allowed.

2 inventory is allowed. The premise is whether the accessories are selected, that is, the relationship between the main material and the alternative material. If the main material is in stock, the primary material is preferentially used. If the main material stock is 0, consider using alternative materials.
