Soil and stone Texture Studies (3)--cracking
Dry land, no grass, no water for a long time, will produce a road crack traces, today, we will do this effect.
1. Create a new 512x512 size file, setting the foreground and background colors to rgb=244,189,111 and 168,109, 25 respectively.
2. Select Menu Filter->render->clouds.
3. Select Menu Filter->noise->add noise,amount=30,gaussian, select Mono item.
4. Select all images and copy the files to the new channel Alpha 1.
5. Enter the channel window, select alpha 1, then enter the level Adjustment window, Input levels=118:1:255.
6. Return to Layer window, select menu filter->render->lighting effects, specific parameters see Figure I.

Well, the basic texture of the land has been completed, and now we're going to do the cracking effect.
7. New layer crack, set system color to default, fill the new layer with white.
8. Select Menu filter->texture->stained glass,cell size=30,border thickness=6,light intensity=0.
9. Copy crack layer, select menu Filter->pixelate->crystallize,cell size=8. and set the replication layer mode to multiply with transparency of 70%.
10. Merge crack and their replication layers.
11. Select Menu filter->stylize->emboss,angle=-39,height=4,amount=50%.
12. Set the crack mode to multiply.
13. Enter Level Adjustment window, Input levels=0:0.29:130, this step deepens the depth of the texture.
14. Ok, merge all layers, select menu Image->canvas Size, reduce the picture to 500x500pixels, the final results are shown in Figure Ii.
In order not to let this terrible texture appear in life, we must cherish water resources oh.
