Sometimes, you will need to use Excel and other software processing data online, Dreamweaver can be very convenient to achieve this. Save the file as a text-formatted file from software such as Excel, and then use Dreamweaver to import the data into a table on the page.

There are two ways to import methods, one is to click the menu bar file\import\import table Data ..., or click on the menu bar of insert\tabular data, then all pop-up dialog box (only the title is different, the former is import table data, The latter is inset tabular Data).

Here is a detailed explanation. Fill in the address of the data file you want to import, or click the browse below ... button to select this file.
Delimiter is used to explain to the Dreamweaver how the data in this data file is separated from each other to allow the Dreamweaver to correctly differentiate between the data.
The next Drop-down marquee has five options--tab, Comma, Colon, semicolon, and other. The tab representation is separated by a space; the comma representation is separated by commas; Colon is separated by a colon; semicolon is separated by semicolons; If you select Other, a text box is added to the Drop-down box to fill in the symbol that separates the data.
Table width is the width of the table that is generated after the data is imported. If fit to data is selected, the table width is adapted as much as possible to the arrangement of the original data file data.
If you select Set, you set the width of the table, and then fill in the value, followed by the Drop-down selection box is the number of units. The Drop-down marquee has pixels and percent two items, pixels is a pixel unit, and percent is a percentage unit.
Cell padding after filling in the size of the blank in the table, the unit will be pixel units.
After the Cell spacing, fill in the gap size between the elements, the unit will be pixel units.
The format top row is the text format that sets the top-level contents of the generated table, followed by a Drop-down selection box with four options--no formatting, bold, italic, and bold italic. No formatting is no special format, bold is bold, italic is italic, bold italic is bold italic.
