1. Control port Connection
Connecting a control port with a COM line


One end of the crystal head connects the control port and the other end connects the computer
If the computer does not have a COM port, a COM-to-USB connection is required.

2. The Huawei switch configuration is emptied (s5700)

The switch is first logged through the console connection to the switch via the serial line

Without a password,
Input command Reset saved-configuration, select "Y"

At this point the configuration is emptied, enter reboot restart, select "N" in the first query, and "Y" in the second query.

It'll be done after the restart.
If you have a password, you can clear the password before you configure it.

3. Switch control port password removal
When booting, press Ctrl+b to enter the Bootrom directory
Select 7, then enter Y

After clearing the console password, be careful to select "1" under the Bootrom main menu. Boot with default mode "does not select" 8. Reboot ", also cannot power down, otherwise the configuration will fail.
