Serv-u ftp advanced, Internet access [personal notes, for reference only]

1. servers (dual NICS) with sev-u can access the FTP service by accessing the Internet IP address.

Note: Can I forward data between internal and external NICs?

2. access from the client (wireless connection server) to 192.168.0.1 is obviously accessible to FTP,

The client can access the Internet IP address of the server or FTP!

3. access from the client (wired dial-up, wireless disabled) to 192.168.0.1 cannot access FTP (obviously, the dual Nic of the server has been Nat, and the Internet cannot access 192.168.0.1 through NAT ),

Clients can access the Internet IP address of the server to access FTP!

Note: Pay attention to the FTP access permission! You can access this ftp on the Internet!

Note: A single user account can log on more than once.

 

Advanced: Modify user permissions

1. Remove User attributes-user information-always allow the check before Logon (otherwise IP access will be unavailable )!

2. Modify user properties-IP address access rules: Enter the IP addresses that are allowed to access (for example, 192. 168. *. *). Other default IP addresses cannot access FTP.
