Set the default character set (UTF-8) for MySQL to avoid garbled characters

Environment: Windows 7+wamp server+mysql 5.7.9

View MySQL default encoding:

 like ' character% '

Character_set_client is the client-side encoding method

Character_set_connection the encoding used to establish the connection

Encoding of the Character_set_database database

Character_set_results encoding of the result set

Encoding of the Character_set_server database server

As long as the guarantee system adopts the same encoding method, it can avoid garbled problems.

Open the MySQL configuration file My.ini, and add the following:

[MySQL]default-character-Set=UTF8[Client]default-character-Set=UTF8[mysqld]Character_set_server=Utf8init_connect='SET NAMES UTF8'

Restart the MySQL service and view the MySQL character set again:
