  Step one: Get the default gateway and DNS server address

  Note: If you are dealing with the static IP address of the broadband business, that is, you handle the broadband business, broadband operators to assign you the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS server address to you, then please read directly: Step two of the Setup method.

The default gateway address on the computer is the router LAN port address (admin address), which is usually identified on the back of the router, and can also be viewed in the router's admin interface. The two addresses that are common are 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1, and DNS server addresses can be viewed under the running State (System State) under the operating status (Systems status) After the router has dial-up access to the DNS server addresses assigned to broadband operations.

  Important : If your router's LAN port address is 192.168.1.1, then the IP address on the computer is set within the range of 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.254; If the IP address of the router LAN port is 192.168.0.1, the IP address that can be set on the computer can only be one of the 192.168.0.2-192.168.0.254.

This article takes the Tengda wireless router as an example to demonstrate, Tengda Router LAN port address is 192.168.0.1, the computer's default gateway address is 192.168.0.1, Meuse netmask address is the range of 255.255.255.0,ip addresses in 192.168.0.2--192.168.0.254.

1, right click on the network Neighbors click "Properties."

2, right click "Local Connection"-> Click "Properties"

3. Double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

4. Select "Use the following IP address" and "Use the following DNS server address"----> then fill in the option after "IP address" with 192.168.0.X (any of X's values range from 2-254)----> "Subnet mask" to fill in after " 255.255.255.0 the----> Default gateway option to fill in the LAN port address of your router----> fill in the DNS server address that is logged under the router's running state after the preferred DNS server address and alternate DNS server address.

1, right click "Network" select "Properties".

2, click "Change Adapter Settings"

3. Right-click Local Connection Select Properties to select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPV4) and click Properties.

4. Check the "Use the following IP address" and "Use the following DNS server address" option----> Fill in "192.168.0.X (X's range is in 2-254, any of the ranges)" After the IP address option----> Subnet mask After filling in the "255.255.255.0"----> "Default gateway", fill in the LAN port address of your router----> in "Preferred DNS server Address" and "Alternate DNS server address" The address of the DNS server that is logged in the running state of the router----> click OK.

2, in the operation of the program input ncpa.cpl-> click "OK" (or press the key on the keyboard to enter)

4.
