Setting up the test environment for S3C6410 Development Board

This book mainly introduces the s3c6410 Development Board and the OK6410 Development Board. The OK6410 Development Board is based on the s3c6410 of the ARM11 processor , with "Core Edition + backplane "structure.

OK6410 Development Board comes with a serial port, thePC also needs to communicate with the serial device. Ubuntu Linux installation serial debugging tool minicom steps:

Step 1 : Detect if the current system supports USB to serial port

Step 2 : Install minicom

Step 3 : Configure minicom

Step 4 : Test minicom

OK6410 default installation WinCE6.0, need to uninstall and install Android, burn write to start eboot Erase Nandflash , Method:

Step 1 : Prepare for work

Step 2 : Enter the eboot State

Step 3 : Erase Nandflash

Then burn to write Android:

Step 1 : Prepare for work

Step 2 : write mmc.bin and zimage-sd.bin to SD card

Step 3 : prepare to burn and write before Android

Step 4 : Start burning Android from SD card

Step 5 : Calibrate the screen

After the above steps, you can configure the cable network for the Development Board, you can manually set the development class IP, subnet mask and gateway, with the Linux command ifconfig Set IP and subnet masks, with Route command to set the gateway.

The Development Board is an important hardware tool for learning Linux driver Development, and we must learn to understand and use it.
