As a Linux Server, D600 has a large screen and high performance (compared with EPC) and is used for presentation and computing. The flexibility of EPC is good. When the weather is cold, take it in the bed to control the D600. Of course, if the D600 can connect to the 42 "LCD TV at the same time. (I am looking forward to the future ).

Similar to Windows's Remote Desktop function, the image is displayed on both hosts, which is a weakness of the Epc 7″ screen. At first, I checked VNC related information. VNC reinforces the graphic display and control functions under * nix. It should be said that the functions are removed and enhanced from the original Xwindows system. However, we did not find a way to share the control information with the Xwindows Session that has been logged on to D600. It seems that this cannot be done. After using * nix for so long, we have never heard of similar functions.

Later, we only tried to enable the remote DISPLAY function of Xwindows in D6000. For security reasons, this option is disabled by Debian Etch by default. Log on to D600 with EPC, set the DISPLAY environment variable, and then use mplayer to play the video. The control permission of mplayer is in the hands of the EPC terminal. The screen is enlarged and reduced, and the sound is adjusted, there is EPC Control for pausing quickforward, which meets the requirements. It seems that the design idea of mplayer is really good.

The problem is that mplayer's control field is limited. He can't help anything except video and audio. I tried to read the xpdf manual and hoped to find a solution for the PDF demonstration, but the solution seems more earthy:

1. After logging on to D600 by EPC, set DISPLAY to the IP address of D600.

You can use the remote function of xpdf to display each slice in sequence. At this time, there is only one xpdf remote Process in D600. If the remote mode is not enabled, there are a lot of tasks. This semi-finished product seems to be completed using scripts, and keyboard capturing is added to automatically complete the command. However, if * nix has been developing for so many years, this job should not be able to work for me, so I still think I should go to the Internet to search again in another day.
