If the configuration is not good, the 2 nodes will not communicate properly, because two important parts of the RAC Environment, both OCR and Votingdisk, need to be placed on the shared disk. The main is to pay attention to planning the size of the disk in advance, because once the OCR and Votingdisk disk, it will not be moved, my experience is, 10g, OCR only more than 100 m, give 500M is enough, votingdisk do not need to give a lot, 500M is enough, If it is 11g then give a little more, 1G bar. Windows view Disk tool is DiskPart, very easy to use, specific usage can be directly input diskpart without parameters to press ENTER, you can see the help, 10g we generally use bare disk, do not format the file system, also do not give the letter, as long as the establishment of a good partition and logical drive can be

Also, if it's VMware, be careful to add the disk.locking = "FALSE" in the "node name". vmx file, otherwise when you start 2 VMS at the same time, you will be reported an XX disk by lock error pop-up window, unable to open normally.

10.
