If you encounter the following problems when using Yum:

Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: Core
Error: cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: Core
Or
Extras [2/3]
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: extras
Error: cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: extras
Or
Updates [3/3]
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: Updates
Error: cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: Updates
All of these indicate that your yum does not find the URL resource that can be updated online. You can go to your/etc/yum. repos. D will be the following file fedora-core.repo, fedora-extras.repo, fedora-updates.repo with gedit etc. open will [core], [extras], [updates] under the baseurl # Remove, such: # baseurl = http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/the region number before core.com
