Achieve Internet sharing without routing

The Internet can be shared without routing. Many people blindly think that only routes can be shared. In fact, this is not the case, in many cases, you can immediately share one network with two or more computers after simple settings. The sharing condition may be simply a simple wireless setting or a network cable, or a hub. Next, let me take you step by step to make a complete analysis of the sharing problems you can encounter.

The hardware requirements mentioned in this article are only for the computer hosting, and the client is not included in the hardware requirements.

The following situations can be shared:

Required hardware: switch or hub, or a network cable

The sharing between wired networks is actually the simplest and easiest way to achieve all the sharing. Without routing, assume that there are three computers A, B, and C, and A accesses the Internet through ADSL dial-up, both machine B and machine C are in the same vswitch or hub as machine. Or, if only A and B are connected, you can directly connect them with A network cable. The steps for sharing are as follows: in host A, in the control panel, open "network connection", right-click "properties" on "Broadband connection", select "advanced", and tick "allow other network users to connect through the internet connection of this computer. Then, wait until the dial-up is completed. After the dial-up of machine A accesses the Internet, let's set the local connection of machine B, and also open "network connection" in "Control Panel". Right-click "Local Connection" and select "internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and "properties" from "properties"

Enter the IP address. Because the default gateway on machine A is 192.168.0.1, we can enter the IP address range between 2 and. Fill in the subnet mask of 192.168.0.2: 255.255.255.0 gateway is 192.168.0.1, of course. The DNS server address is different from that of the same region. Therefore, you need to fill in the subnet mask according to your location, you can enter "cmd" in "Start Menu" "Run" on host A and then "ipconfig/all" to see the local DNS server address. After all the addresses are filled in, "OK" B will be able to access the Internet, and then we will set the C server. In fact, both C and B are set the same, the only difference is that the IP address must be between 3 and, because 1 serves as the gateway and 2 is occupied by machine B. We can fill in 192.168.0.3. All others are exactly the same as machines B. After the configuration is complete, the C machine will be able to access the Internet. If there are still machines D or E, their settings are similar to machines B, as long as the IP address does not conflict.

Wired shared to wireless

Required hardware: if one of them is a desktop computer, one USB wireless Nic is required. If you use a laptop, you can purchase a wireless network card.

Assume that there are two computers, one is A desktop computer, the other is A laptop, and the other is A machine that accesses the Internet through ADSL dial-up. Then we use machine A as the host. We have installed a usb wireless Nic for host, open "network connection" in "Control Panel" of server A, right-click "Broadband connection", and choose "advanced". In "allow other network users to access the internet of this computer select "wireless network connection" in "Home Network Connection" under "connection" and click "OK, next, go back to "network connection", right-click "wireless network connection", and choose "wireless network configuration"

Open the following "advanced" and select "computer only (specific )"

Close and click "add"

Create a network name here. You can enter any letter or Chinese character. The following Network Authentication and Data Encryption Require a Password when creating a wireless connection. We do not need a password here, so we can select "disabled" in data encryption, and then we confirm that the settings on server A are complete. /

Next we will set machine B (that is, the notebook) on Machine B, we also open "network connection" in "Control Panel" and Right-click "properties" on "wireless network connection" to open the "General" panel, select "internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" attributes

Enter the IP address. Because the gateway on machine A is already set to 192.168.0.1 by default, we can enter the IP address between 2 and. After filling in the information, confirm and go back to "network connection". Right-click "view available wireless connections" on "wireless network connection", find the network name set in host A, and connect to it, if not, click "Refresh Network List" on the left. After the connection, the network will be connected! Sharing is successful. If you want to share a C-notebook ~ The operation is the same as that of machine B. You only need to change the last IP address to avoid IP conflict!
