Sharing settings between mac and windows 1. make sure that the two PCs are in another working group. By default, if you haven't modified them, they should be workgroup. mac, from system preference> network> advanced> WINS, also set to workgroup.2. set the sharing attribute for windows Access and Enable SMB in the sharing option, which is the protocol that can communicate with windows. 3. Select go> connect to server for mac connection to windows sharing, and enter smb: // 192 ...... (pc ip address, win7 generally uses ip connection)
