You can use pivot transformations to apply three-dimensional effects to any Silverlight UIElement. For example, you can create the illusion that an object is rotated toward you or away from you, as shown in the following illustration.

Although the perspective transformation that is applied to a simple image is shown in the previous illustration, you can apply perspective transformations to UIElement, including controls. For example, you can apply this effect to the Grid, which in turn includes a TextBox and a Button. Although the controls are rotated, users can type in the TextBox and click the Button (assuming that the controls are visible).
Another common scenario for using perspective transformations is to arrange objects relative to each other in order to create three-dimensional effects, as shown in the following illustration.
