Simple win7 commands transform PCs into wireless hotspots and share Internet access

Applicability:

1. Windows 7 platform computer

2. Laptops or desktop computers with WiFi modules

3. The M9 of the temporary network created in win7 cannot be found.


Generate WiFi network properties:

1. WLAN is 802.11g Standard

2. the bandwidth is 54 Mbps.



Enable the hide function of Windows 7: Virtual WiFi and softap (Virtual Wireless AP)


The method is as follows:


1. Run the command prompt as an administrator:

Shortcut Key win + R → Enter cmd → press ENTER


2. Enable and set the virtual WiFi NIC:

Run the command: netsh WLAN set hostednetwork mode = allow SSID = pc key = bulukawifi (note the spaces in the middle)
Note:

The following parameters can be freely changed

Mode: whether to enable the virtual WiFi Nic. If it is set to disallow, It is disabled.

SSID: the name of the wireless network. It is best to use English (PC as an example ).

Key: wireless network password, more than eight characters (using bulukawifi as an example ).
The preceding three parameters can be used independently. For example, you can disable a virtual Wi-Fi network card by using mode = disallow only.
If you are not careful about changing the password, do not worry. use netsh again.
WLAN set hostednetwork mode = allow SSID = pc key = <password to be changed>

After it is enabled, a wireless connection 2 with the network adapter "Microsoft Virtual WiFi miniport adapter" will be displayed in the network connection. For convenience, rename it "WiFi ". If no, you only need to update the wireless NIC Driver. (Download a driver Genie and update the driver)



3. Set Internet Connection Sharing:

In the "Network Connection" window, right-click a network connection that has been connected to the Internet, select "properties"> "share", and check "allow others • Connect (n) "and select" WiFi"



4. Enable the wireless network:

Continue to run: netsh WLAN start hostednetwork in the command prompt


(Change start to stop to disable the wireless network. To enable the wireless network after the system is started, you only need to run this command again. You can also copy the preceding command, then you can run it in administrator mode every time you start the system .)


On the network connection page:

We will find that the Red Cross next to "WiFi" has disappeared and the Wireless AP is enabled successfully.


Note:

1. The Wireless AP password is in "key" of the command: bulukawifi (which can be freely modified)
