Six emergency methods to run Windows with "flameout"

In order not to reinstall the system, you must endure the long-standing suffering of failures. It may be that the system is restarted at intervals, or an error box may pop up from time to time. In short, you cannot work well ...... There are six emergency methods that can enable Windows to run the "flameout" command again.

1. Find the last "Civilization": The last correct configuration

Many system faults are related to hardware drivers. Sometimes a new version of the driver may seem to improve performance, but it may cause system compatibility problems when installed in your system, after the driver is updated, the system cannot normally enter Windows. The "Last correct configuration" is designed for this situation. When the system cannot be started properly due to the newly installed driver or system configuration, restart and press F8 during this process, select "Last correct configuration" in the "advanced startup options" menu, and the system will use the registry data recovery system backed up under normal conditions. Generally, the system can be accessed.

Ii. incomplete and not beautiful: repair system files

The recovery configuration can only repair data in the registry. If the system file is damaged, you need to use other methods. If the System file is damaged, the System may be unstable. Otherwise, the System may fail to start properly. The correct method is to use the System command SFC (System FileChecker, System File Checker) scan System files. If any file is damaged, you must insert the installation disc and restore the original file. Click Start> Run. In the run box, type "sfc/scannow" and press enter to start the check. Then, restart. If the system on the installation disc is relatively old, we recommend that you use a patch disc to repair it, so that the file can be restored to the old version.

3. Change the "vest" and try again: Change the user

The registry in the system mainly includes the System Branch and the user branch. Some users configure their own system environment, causing various strange faults after logon. Don't rush to reinstall the system. In this case, you can simply change the "vest" to continue. Log on to the system with an Administrator Account (if the current user cannot create a new user), create a new Administrator Account in "Control Panel> User Account", and then log on with this account. Note that the "My Documents" and other private data of the original user are in the directory of the original account. You can back up the files in advance or log on to the new account and open "C: windowsDocuments andSettings [Username] (the system directory can be changed according to the actual location, and "[Username] is replaced with the account name for data export ").

4. reregister the DLL file: Restore the DLL registration status

There are many DLL files in the system. They are actually divided into two categories: Standard DLL files that do not need to be registered and ActiveXDLL files that need to be registered. The latter leaves some relevant data in the registry, once the data is damaged or does not exist, an error occurs when calling these DLL. There are many such DLL files that need to be registered that are closely related to system functions. When a system function fails, how can you accurately find the DLL that causes trouble and re-register it? The better way is to re-register all ...... Open notepad and enter the following code and save it as regdll. bat. Then, execute it and restart it.
@ Echo off
For % 1 in (% systemroot % system32 *. dll) do regsvr32.exe/s % 1

V. system initialization: completely restore the initial Registry

System initialization is not the only way to reinstall the system. In the system directory, there is a subdirectory dedicated to storing registry database files. Fortunately, there is also a subdirectory dedicated to storing registry database file backups when the new system is installed, when the system fails to be restored, the backup is restored to the current registry database. You can "initialize" the system ", return to the way the system was installed (but the number of files in the system directory is not small ). Since the registry database file is always locked by the system after it is started, you need to operate in DOS. If it is a dual system, you can directly operate in another system, users with NTFS partitions can use the "fault recovery console ". At the command line prompt, use the CD command to switch the current directory to the "% windir % Repair" subdirectory and execute the following commands in sequence:
Copy sam % windir % system32config
Copy system % windir % system32config
Copy software % windir % system32config
Copy default % windir % system32config
Copy security % windir % system32config

Vi. System life-saving straw: System Restoration

Windows XP's System Restoration function is not as "chicken" as Windows ME does. When a fault occurs, this function can perfectly restore the system to the status before the problem occurs. If you can also enter the system (whether in normal or secure mode), click "Start> program> attachment> System Tool> System Restore" in sequence. In the displayed System Restore settings wizard, select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" and click "Next. In the displayed System Restore Point List window, you can select the Restore point to be restored. Generally, if a problem occurs, select a restore point closer to the current date. If you cannot start in "safe mode", Press F8 to enter "safe mode with command line prompt", and then enter "C: windowssystem32estorestrui.exe "run System Restore.

TIPS:

When performing important operations, such as modifying the registry or other system optimization behaviors, you should restore the system in advance to minimize the loss in case of misoperations.

Improve the speed of printing DOC and PDF files: files such as DOC and PDF contain some or a lot of raster data (images, embedded fonts, etc ). When printing these files, the printer driver will generate a large number of EMF files (enhanced conversion files) in the system, as small as 1 MB, as large as 500 MB, A large temporary EMF file causes a significant reduction in printing efficiency. Solution: click "Start> Settings> printer and fax", right-click the printer to be printed, and select "properties ", in the "advanced" tab in the pop-up window, select "print to printer" and click "OK" to increase the speed.
