Smart pointers in C ++ Development

1. STL auto_ptr
Disadvantages:
1) An object can only be owned by one auto_ptr, that is, ownership transfer.
2) Therefore, it cannot be used in STL container. Therefore, it is not practical.

2. Boost shared_ptr
STD: tr1: shared_ptr in tr1 is enough (# include <memory>, use STD: tr1 :: shared_ptr using the vs2008 Feature Pack Beta which doesn' t involve boost in any way at all ). You can compile and use the boost library in vs2008 if necessary.
