SMB architecture entry: ibm http server diagram (in Windows)

Apache-based ibm http server is an Apache web server developed based on Apache Group. The ibm http Server extends Apache's functionality to use the IBM Quick Response cache accelerator. The high-speed cache accelerator is a small kernel http get engine and HTTP content high-speed cache, which makes the static Web pages used for services significantly faster than Apache Web servers without high-speed cache accelerators; by default, the high-speed cache accelerator is enabled. You can use the configuration file pseudoinstructions to completely disable the high-speed cache accelerator.
　　
First, go to the IBM website to download the ibm http server (ihs.6000.windows.ias.zip package file, which is the ibm http Server Installation File, as shown in 2.

The "Welcome to ibm http Server 6.0 InstallShield wizard" Screen appears in Figure 3. We mainly use the InstallShield Wizard to install the ibm http Server 6.0 web server and click "Next" to continue. Then, the "software license agreement" Screen appears. Select "I accept all the terms in the license agreement" and click the [English] button to display the English license agreement; click "Next" to continue (figure 4 ).

Next, the installation directory of ibm http Server 6.0, which defaults to C:/program files/ibm http server folder. You can also click the Browse button to install it in another directory, the default path is used here. Click "Next" to continue (figure 5 ).

Next, select the installation type. Here there are three installation types: "typical" indicates that the installation program will be installed according to the actual configuration. This type is recommended for most users; "Custom" indicates that the installer will install the feature we selected. This type is recommended for advanced users. "Developer installation (not managed) "indicates that this installation type only contains the basic requirements for running ibm http server (IHS), and does not require administrative privileges for installation. Here we select" typical "installation (figure 6 ).

In Figure 7, some installation options are displayed. During installation, you can run ibm http server and ibm http management as a Windows Service, log on to the specified Administrator account, and enter the Administrator's username and password; select "automatic" for the start type.
　　
When you install the Administration Server, authentication is enabled for directories that contain all configuration forms. After the installation, if the user ID and password are not provided, the Administration Server will not provide services for the page. In this way, after the ibm http server and Administration Server are successfully installed, the configuration files of ibm http server are not directly accessed by unauthorized users. On Windows, this default file contains the user ID and password entered during installation. Identify the user ID and password in the password filter of the Administration Server and access the ibm http server configuration page through the Administration Server.
　　
The following figure shows that IHS 6.0 is installed in the C:/program files/ibm http Server Directory. The components selected have basic HTTP server and security, and are installed in C: The total file size is 97 MB, 8.

Click "Next" in the middle to Start copying the file system. Wait for a while until the progress bar reaches 100% (figure 9 ); the InstallShield wizard prompts that IHS 6.0 has been successfully installed. Click "finish" to exit the wizard (Figure 10 ).

In the address bar of IE browser, press http: // 192.168.2.201/or http: // localhost/to enter the Enter key. The page shown in Figure 11 is displayed. You can click View document to go to the Information Center page, here you can find more information that IBM has added to ibm http server. If we copy the enterprise website homepage file to the C:/program files/ibm http server/htdocs directory, click "visit our web site" to view the specific content of the web site.

In Windows 2003 Server, we can start the HTTP server service in "program"> "ibm http Server 6.0", and start the Management Server Control End to set and manage Web servers; you can also stop services and manage servers here (Figure 12). The installed ibm http Server 6.0 server directory file on disk C is shown in Figure 13.
