Solution for failing to enter debug mode in Powerbuilder 8 (modify registry)

Recently, I have access to Pb and started to use pb10. Later I have access to pb8.

At that time, I really felt that the vs series development platform was the perfect!

But I don't get used to it anymore. I thought it should be a registry problem after suffering from several times of system reinstallation by pb8.

Finally, we found a key value that saved the breakpoint information before pb8 went wrong:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Sybase \ PowerBuilder \ 8.0j \ Layout \ default]

Modify the content in the [debug] value under this key to the following content, and then close the registry editor to OK:

"Pbtr {0 pbtv {0 PPS {1} 68 pbtb {0 pdsb {0} pdsh {0} 0} 32} 80 pbtv {0 pbtb {0 PDV {0 2} PDV {0 1} PDV {0 16} PDV {0 4} PDV {0 8} pdmo {0} 1} 50 pbtb {0 PDCs {0} pdbp {0} PDW {0} 2} 50} 20}"(Remove double quotation marks at both ends)
