Solution for failure to connect to the Internet when the vmwarevm is installed with centos

 

Today, on a lab computer, vaware under Windows XP tossed centos and found that the Network could not be connected.

 

1. Check that Ethernet is set to Nat
2. VMWare vnic 8

 

3. In centos, the network IP address is automatically obtained and then changed to a fixed IP Address:

At first, centos sets the default gateway of etho to ip192.168.147.1 of vnic 8, and finds that the network cannot be connected. It can ping 192.168.147.1 and my local computer 192.168.1.3, but cannot Ping 192.168.1.1 (LAN router) and other machines in the LAN.

Later, we set the centos gateway to 192.168.147.2.
