Solution for Win98 systems to be in security mode only

Cause:
(1) You can only access the system in safe mode.
(2) If you choose to enter the system normally in security mode, the following text is displayed in the black screen:
Insuficient memory to initialize windows.
Quit one or more memory-resident programs or remove unnecessary utilities form your Config. sys
And autoexec. BAT files, and restart your computer.
(3) the computer memory is added with a 1 gb ddr 400 memory based on the original 400 m DDR memory.
Cause:
If the computer has 1 GB or more memory and the operating system is Win95 or Win98, Windows cannot start,
When you restart the computer, the following message is displayed:
Insuficient memory to initialize windows.

And autoexec. BAT files, and restart your computer.
Solution:
(1) You can enter the security mode and then the security mode.
Find the Windows/system. ini file
The text content of system. ini contains the configuration information in [ENH ].
Check whether maxphyspage branch is available
If yes, change the value. If no, add a new one.
That is, maxphyspage = 30000 or greater,
Set maxphyspage = 30000 to change the memory available for Windows to 768 MB.
(2) Right-click my computer properties and choose Properties> performance> virtual memory.
-> User-specified virtual memory settings
Hard Disk (d): E :\? MB available
Minimum: 500 (MB)
Maximum Value: 3161 (MB)
