Solution to Chinese and English fonts on my PPC

My PPC can only be installed with the English version of 2003se. Therefore, when I purchased it, I installed a Chinese plug-in ROS. However, after the installation, I found that the Chinese font is not very beautiful, in some cases, the English font is very poor, and all English and numbers are very wide, which makes it difficult to see and often cannot be displayed, causing great pain.

This problem was finally solved by searching on pdafans. The reason is that the font sunglobe. TTF of my Chinese plug-in is not very good. So, I downloaded a font file, which is said to be perfect for supporting Chinese and Japanese fonts-time_st.ttf.

Copy the TTF file to the \ Windows Directory, run the registry editing software treditor, and find [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ fontlink \ systemlink].

We found that all the original fonts, including Arial, tahoma, and Courier New, all pointed to sunglobe. TTF. So we started to modify them and changed the values of all these items:

Here, \ windows \ time_st.ttf indicates the path of the font file, and time_st indicates the font name, just like \ windows \ sunglobe. like TTF and unisun, unisun is the Chinese font name of the ROS Chinese plug-in.

Maybe Microsoft thinks there is a problem with cleartype on the horizontal screen.
