Solution to chrome font deficiency in Ubuntu/Linux

Source: Internet

The newly installed 10.04 and Firefox are not very easy to use, so chrome is changed. However, when Chrome is used, it is found that the font is always lacking, especially when accessing the cnbeta and QQ spaces.
Wait, very ugly. I checked the relevant information online to change the font, but it was useless after I tried it. Then I tried a chrome plug-in "Change font family
Style
Extension ", part of the font solution, but when loading a Web page, it often takes some time to see. You can only go to the Ubuntu Chinese forum. Find another solution
Method.

Symptom: the font size is not the same or the font is blurred. The solution is as follows:

1. Check whether the font "wenquanyi zhenhei" has been installed. If not, install TTF-wqy-zenhei in synaptic;

2.
Sudo gedit/etc/fonts/CONF. d/66-wqy-zenhei-sharp.conf, change 12 in the downstream to 16 (15 can also be done, depending on the individual, 14 certainly won't work)

<Test compare = "more_eq" name = "pixelsize"> <double> 12 </Double> </test>

In this way, the black dot matrix is turned off. OK!
