Upgrade Ubuntu to the latest version 11.10. After upgrading Ubuntu to the latest 11.10, something unexpected occurs after the restart, that is, information about "Waiting up to 60 seconds more for network" appears during the startup process, then, the system enters a completely black screen state. Fortunately, the method is found:

1. When a full black screen appears, press Ctrl + Alt + F1 to enter a terminal interface;

2. log on

3. Switch to root: sudo-I

4. mkdir-p/run/lock

5. rm-rf/var/run/var/lock

6. ln-s/run/var

7. ln-s/run/lock/var

Restart the instance to start the instance properly.
