Ubuntu 90.4 was installed on VMWare Workstation some time ago, but it cannot be connected to the network. Later, when we opened the "Network Connection", we found that when we Installed VMware Workstation, VMware network adapter vmnet1 VMware network adapter vmnet8 was deleted, so remember to add it as soon as possible:

Virtual netwrok settings under the edit menu of VMware Workstation...

Open the virtual netwrok edtior dialog box and select the host virtual adapters tab.

Click "add...". In the previous dialog box, select "vmnet8" and click "OK.

Return to the virtual netwrok edtior dialog box and select vmnet8 from the vmnet host in the NAT tab.

Finally, click confirm to exit.

This time, the Ubuntu system has been connected to the remote network for a long time.
