Solution to ubuntu 11.04 slow wifi speed

I have not found this problem before. The wifi speed is relatively slow. There are two solutions on the Internet. I use the second solution, UBUNTU 11.04/etc/modprobe. d/The directory does not contain ath9k. CONF file

Directly create a new VI.

Method 1: Disable Ipv6

Open the terminal and enter the following command:

Echo "# disable IPv6" | sudo tee-A/etc/sysctl. confecho "net. ipv6.conf. all. disable_ipv6 = 1 "| sudo tee-A/etc/sysctl. confecho "net. ipv6.conf. default. disable_ipv6 = 1 "| sudo tee-A/etc/sysctl. confecho "net. ipv6.conf. lo. disable_ipv6 = 1 "| sudo tee-A/etc/sysctl. conf

Then restart the system.

Method 2:

If the preceding method does not work, use this method. Open the terminal and enter the following command:

Sudo-sgksu gedit/etc/modprobe. d/ath9k. conf

At the end of the file, add:

Options ath9k nohwcrypt = 1

Save the file and restart the system.
