Solutions to ubuntu installation and related problems in Windows 7
1. Use wubi to install ubuntu in win7

(1) download the ubuntu image file from the official ubuntu website.

(2) Use winrar to open the downloaded image file, extract the wubi.exe file, and put it in the same directory as the original file (preferably the root directory of a disk ). Do not extract other files.

(3) disconnect the network (if necessary, you can unplug the network cable and remove the router)

(4) Open the command line, switch to the directory where wubi.exe is located, enter the wubi.exe -- 32bit command, and press Enter. At this time, you can see the installation interface, choose to install ubuntu on a disk (not drive C), set a password for the ubuntu system, and click Install. After the installation is complete, Select Restart immediately, and the system enters the automatic installation process.

2. Problems and Solutions during ubuntu Installation

These problems are solved by myself during the installation process. I may encounter various problems during ubuntu installation. Here I will not mention them one by one. I will only provide a solution based on the two problems I encountered.

1. After wubi is installed and restarted, ubuntu installation remains in the "copying files" status without any response. Solution: In this case, the solution is to completely disconnect the network. During installation at home, the network connection is obviously disconnected under win7, but this problem still occurs, as a result, the installation on the train will be okay the next day. It may be because the network is not completely disconnected. We recommend that you unplug the network cable and unplug the router.
2. When entering ubuntu, the system prompts "Yes/serious errors found during disk check" solution:
(1) When you enter the Ubuntu Startup menu, select * Ubuntu with the cursor, and press the e key on the disk to enter the startup Item editing mode.
(2) locate with the cursor, find ro rootflag = sync, change ro to rw, and press F10 to guide the system according to the modified parameters.
In fact, the problem can be solved in the first two steps, but the problem cannot be completely solved. It is very troublesome to start the system each time. refer to the following steps to completely solve the problem.
(1) After entering the system according to the above steps, press ctrl + shif + t to open the terminal
(2) Enter sudo gedit/etc/grub. d/10_lupin and press Enter.
(3) enter the user password and press enter to call the text editor to open the startup Item configuration file.
(4) press ctrl + f to search, find loop =$ {loop_file_relative} ro $ {args}, change ro to rw, save and exit
(5) enter the terminal program again, enter sudo update-grub, and press Enter.
(6) enter the password and wait patiently for the system to update the startup Item.
(7) restart the system and solve the problem.
