RPC-based servicesProgramIn Win2000 and win2003, the system runs normally, but fails in xp. The error message is "Access Denied". How can this problem be solved?
The solution is as follows:
- Click Start, click Run, type gpedit. msc, and click OK to open the Group Policy.
- After the Group Policy is enabled, choose computer configuration> management template> system> Remote Procedure Call> Limits for unverified RPC Clients ".
- Double-click "limits for unverified RPC Clients" and select "properties" from the shortcut menu ".
- In the pop-up "properties" dialog box, select the "Settings" property page, select "enabled", "Unverified client restrictions for RPC running to be applied", and select "NONE ".
- Click OK to complete the settings.
After testing, it is determined that only XP + SP2 will have the problem of "Access Denied" for RPC communication. Other Win2k and Win2k systems do not have this problem.
