How to install VMware tools in vmware 6.5:

First, load the relevant installation disk.

Decompress the vmware tools.tar.gz file to the/tmp directory.

Decompress the following files:

Cd/tmp/vmware-tools-distrib/lib/modules/source/

Sudo tar xvf vmhgfs.tar

Run the vmhgfs-only/page. c file

Replace with the file in the attachment

Cp path/page. c vmhgfs-only/

Repackage

Rm vmhgfs.tar

Sudo tar cvf vmhgfs.tar vmhgfs-only/

Cd/tmp/vmware-tools-distrib/

Run the installer:

Sudo./vmware-install.pl-d

Automatic installation is complete
