Open the terminal input sudo apt-get install xpdf-chinese-simplified and sudo apt-get install xpdf-chinese-traditional, if not, enter sudo Apt-get install Poppler-data to install CJK Chinese fonts. It is ok to install the corresponding language in the PDF file of other languages.
