Some tips for using the Find command and VIM

Find and copy

Find/boot-size 1m-exec cp-r {}/mytest/\;

Vim
d^ Delete from cursor to beginning of line
d$ Delete from cursor to end of line

Save As
: W/temp/mycp.txt
Read
: R/temp/mycp.txt
Replace All
%s/root/temproot/g
Replace cursor at the beginning of the
S/root/temproot
Replace all of the lines where the cursor is
S/root/temproot/g
Replace one to 10 lines all (need to confirm plus c)
1,10s/root/admin/g (c)

Turn on auto indent
Set AI

Modify the custom vim parameter
Touch/root/.vimrc
Set Nu
Set AI

See the packages you need
Rpm-aq | grep vim

See which package is generated by the command (often used to delete files by mistake)
Rpm-qf/bin/hostname
