Splitting of Chinese and digital string combinations

Data Table Structure and required results

The VernacularAll field in the table contains a string composed of Chinese characters and characters. The result is that the two fields are divided into Vernacular and Page.

The SQL statement is as follows:

UPDATE  dbo.FRPSNames

SET     Vernacular = LEFT(VernacularAll,

                          PATINDEX('%[1-9]%', VernacularAll) - 1)

-- Extract the numeric string on the right of the VernacularAll Field

UPDATE  dbo.FRPSNames

SET     Page = RIGHT(VernacularAll,

                     LEN(VernacularAll) - PATINDEX('%[1-9]%', VernacularAll)

                     + 1)
