SQL database is not installed to open the MDF file of SQL database

First, make sure that your machine has Visual Studio of VS 2005 or later version ~!

Click "Tools" in the project> "connect to Database", and the data source will be changed,

Select

Click OK. The following window is displayed:

 

Browse your MDF database file:

 

Click to open

 

Then click connection test,

Well, your database can be opened. Click OK next to it and check whether the window on the left of vs appears;

 

Click the plus sign before the data connection:

 

Here I want to explain that I opened it when only Visual Studio 2005 is installed on the machine and no database is installed. It is also because a friend has SQL 2005 to open the SQL2000 database file for testing, with a try, I did not expect the Success ~! Hope you can help me with this document ~!
